Street Lighting
I. AVAILABILITY
This rate is available to municipalities, road lighting districts or others
who contract for the operation of street lighting systems in incorporated
cities, unincorporated communities, recognized subdivisions, or areas
immediately adjacent thereto for the lighting of public streets, roads,
and thoroughfares, subject to the Standard Terms and Conditions for Electric
Service of the Cooperative. This rate is not available for rural and private
area lighting.
II. TYPE OF SERVICE
Unmetered mercury vapor or equivalent lighting service from dusk to dawn,
approximately 4000 hours per year. Cooperative shall furnish lamp renewals
and install same. All necessary service and maintenance shall be furnished
by the Cooperative during the regular working hours of the Cooperative.
In case the Cooperative shall at any time or times be prevented from delivering
electric energy hereunder by causes beyond its control, it shall not be
liable in damages to any governing body, firm or corporation.
III. MINIMUM
A minimum of ten lamps must be used to qualify for this rate.

VI. POWER COST ADJUSTMENT The above charges shall be increased
as determined under Power Cost Adjustment Clause PCA-WST.
VII. TAXES
All sales taxes or other taxes levied on the sale of electric power by
any governmental authority shall be added to the above rate schedule in
accordance with the applicable laws.
VII. TERMS OF PAYMENT
The above rates are net, the gross rates being 5% higher on the bill.
In the event the current monthly bill is not paid within twenty (20) days
from the date of the bill, the gross rates shall apply.
Controlled All Night Outdoor
Electric Lighting Service
I. AVAILABTLITY
Available at all points in Washington-St. Tammany Electric Cooperative,
Inc. 's service area where existing facilities of suitable phase and voltage
are adjacent to the premises to be served subject to the established rules
and regulations of the Cooperative. Not available for temporary service.
II. APPLICATION
To electric service for the operation of overhead automatically controlled
all night outdoor lighting service for lighting private streets, alleys,
or any area of the premises. The lighting fixture shall be a luminaire
with outer globes open bottom glassware with a mercury vapor white lamp
or equivalent control device, mounted on a 30-inch bracket or mastarm
erected on Cooperative-owned or controlled poles where the fixtures and
equipment are owned, maintained, and serviced by the Cooperative.
III. TYPE OF SERVICE The lamps shall burn from dusk to dawn. Cooperative
shall furnish lamp renewals and install same. All necessary service and
maintenance shall be furnished by the Cooperative during regular working
hours of the Cooperative.
In case the Cooperative shall at any time or times be prevented from delivering
electric energy hereunder by causes beyond its control, it shall not be
liable in damages to any governing body, person, firm or corporation.
IV. BILLING
For a lamp located on high side of meter:
$6.55 per lamp per month (175 Watt MV or 100 Watt HPS),
$14.00 per lamp per month (400 Watt MH or 400 Watt HPS),
$26.00 per lamp per month (1000 Watt MH or 1000 Watt HPS).
For a lamp located on load side of meter:
$3.75 per lamp per month (175 Watt MV or 100 Watt HPS),
$5.90 per lamp per month (400 Watt MH or 400 Watt HPS),
$7.25 per lamp per month (1000 Watt MH or 1000 Watt HPS).
V. POWER COST ADJUSTMENT
The above charges shall be increased as determined under Power Cost Adjustment
Clause PCA-WST. Mercury vapor lamps will be charged at 74 kWh per month.
High-pressure sodium lamps will be charged at 45 kWh (100 Watt), 151 kWh
(400 Watt) and 350 kWh (1000 Watt) per month. Metal Halide lamps will
be charged at 151 kWh (400 Watt) and 350 kWh (1000 Watt) per month.
VI.TAXES
All sales taxes or other taxes levied on the sale of electric power by
any governmental authority shall be added to the above rate schedule in
accordance with the applicable laws.
VII. TERMS OF PAYMENT
The above races are net, the gross rates being 5% higher on the bill.
In the event the current monthly bill is not paid within twenty (20) days
from the date of the bill, the gross rates shall apply.
VIII. CONTRACT PERIOD
Not less than one year.
Controlled All Night Outdoor Electric
Lighting Service - Underground
I. AVAILABILITY
Available at all points in Washington-St. Tammany Electric Cooperative,
Inc.'s service area where existing facilities of suitable phase and voltage
are adjacent to the premises to be served subject to the established rules
and regulations of the Cooperative. Not available for temporary service.
II. APPLICATION
To unmetered service for the operation of underground automatically controlled
all night outdoor lighting service for lighting private streets, alleys,
or any area of the premises. The lighting fixtures shall be a Luminaire
with outer globes open bottom glassware with a 175 watt - 400 watt mercury
vapor white lamp Or equivalent lamp, with control device, mounted on a
30 inch bracket or mastarm erected on Cooperative-owned or controlled
metal, concrete or fiberglass poles where the fixtures and equipment (with
exception of trenching and underground wire which shall be furnished by
the Member Member) are owned, maintained and serviced by the Cooperative.
III. TYPE OF SERVICE
The lamps shall burn from dusk to dawn. Cooperative shall furnish lamp
renewals and install same. All necessary service and maintenance on the
underground service line and the overhead poles and fixtures shall be
furnished by the Cooperative during regular working hours of the
Cooperative.

electric energy hereunder by causes beyond its control, it shall not be
liable in damages to any governing body, person, firm or corporation.
