It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of our longtime board director, Billy Wayne Rester, who passed away this morning.
Billy Wayne faithfully served on our Board of Directors since 1994, offering more than 3 decades of steady leadership, dedication, and wisdom. He stepped down only recently, leaving behind a legacy that helped shape who we are today.
We are profoundly grateful for his service and the countless contributions he made to the cooperative and community. Our thoughts are with his family, and all who were touched by his kindness and commitment.
He will be greatly missed.
